Accepted: Gies iMBA at University of Illinois

Wanted to share that I've been accepted into the Gies College of Business iMBA program at University of Illinois for the fall 2026 start. Looking forward to enriching my leadership skills, getting a more formal grounding in the financial and strategic side of the business, and meeting new people along the way.

This has been on my radar for a while. The iMBA format works well for someone still working full-time and managing a family (i.e. me), and Gies has a strong reputation for making the online experience substantive rather than just convenient. The cohort model and live sessions were a big draw over purely self-paced alternatives.

I'll likely write more about the experience as it unfolds, but for now, just excited to get started this fall.
